Senior Pastor Beroya Mission Centre Nanyuki

Bishop Amos is the Presiding Bishop and the Founder Chairman of Beroya Echo of Apostolic Mission Church. He is a holder of Diploma in Theology from Njoro Bible College.

Bishop Amos is minister with over three decades of experience in the ministry. He started as an evangelist and pastor in Apostolic Faith Church where he helped established churches in Nyandarua, before moving to Nanyuki after God sent him there in the late 80’s. He established the churches in Nanyuki where he became the first Parish Minister of Mt. Kenya Parish and was ordained as a reverend. During the same time he helped the Church establish the first Development Committee which he shared at the Regional level.

The Parish grew and other churches were established in the then Laikipia, Meru, parts of Nyeri district which were later established as the Laikipia Region where Bishop Amos served as the first Regional Secretary and later taking over as the Regional Overseer and Regional Bishop. Upto the time of His resignation Bishop Amos Served as the Bishop of Laikipia Region, Member of the National Executive Council and Bishops Council of the Apostolic Faith Church.

Bishop Amos Gatama has served in several international missions in South Sudan, Uganda, Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Mauritius.

In addition Bishop Amos has served in several interdenominational Pastors organization and helped establish some such as Likii Pastors Fellowship and Gospel Ministers Association where he currently serves as the Vice Chairperson.

He is also an active member of the community and businessman. He is a founder member of several Jua Kali Artisans in both Nanyuki and Nyahururu. He currently leads the Nanyuki Municipality Jua Kali Association which is one of the largest associations in the country. He has also served on the National Jua Kali Association.

He has had several businesses and companies which include Scarem Services and Mjia Company Limited.

Bishop Amos not only brings spiritual leadership to the church but also a lot of managerial experience.

During his ministry has raised many sons and daughters which of them serve in the ministry which include Bishops, Apostles Reverends, Pastors, Evangelists serving in different ministries and countries.
